About Us
OUR PROGRAM
The Early Childhood Education Program at Olympic Heights Community High School is a school-to-work program that trains students in the field of early childhood education and childcare. We seek to provide an environment for our little lions that is nurturing and safe. The Little Lions Learning Center is a place where your child can feel free to explore and learn at his or her own pace. We use a theme-based approach to reinforce concepts and skills from the Florida School Readiness Performance Standards. Our three-year-old class emphasizes socialization skills and the development of self-help skills. In addition to these skills, our four-year-old class focuses on readiness skills in language, math, writing, science, and motor skills.
PROGRAM GOALS:
The Little Lions Learning Center has established the following as our main program goals.
